My recent post about replacing my backup solution with BorgBackup ended with a bit of a cliffhanger… I still needed to try and restore some data from backup.

For the last six years I have been using a backup product called SpiderOak One which puts a large focus on privacy - it even got a recommendation from Edward Snowden.
